About the Event

The Ridgeley Rosenwald School Task Force of PGCACDST will host a virtual Black History Program on ZOOM. The theme of the program is "Rosenwald Schools Empowered Students Through Education."

Ridgeley Rosenwald School was built for African American elementary students in 1927 with financial assistance from the Julius Rosenwald Fund. The school was renovated in 2011 and now serves as a Historic School Museum.

Ridgeley Rosenwald School is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
