PGCAC Financial Fortitude

 

Financial Fortitude is Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.'s current initiative under the Economic Development Thrust and was established to promote financial literacy in PGCAC and Prince George’s County by providing financial education through workshops and seminars to chapter members and county residents.  Through an understanding of the basic principles of financial literacy, sorors will be provided with information to make more “Money Smart” choices for their families and to help empower their communities in realizing the goals of personal wealth and financial security. 

In an effort to achieve Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.'s goals and objectives, Financial Fortitude partners with other organizations to implement programs such as the following:

  • Affordable Housing/Home Retention Seminar
  • Estate Planning Seminar
  • PGCAC Youth Community Outreach Conference
  • Business Expo
