PGCAC Financial Fortitude

Financial Fortitude is one of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.'s newest initiatives under the Economic Development Thrust and was established to promote financial literacy in PGCAC and Prince George’s County by providing financial education through workshops and seminars to chapter members and county residents.  Through an understanding of the basic principles of financial literacy, sorors will be provided with information to make more “Money Smart” choices for their families and to help empower their communities in realizing the goals of personal wealth and financial security.

Financial Fortitude also supports The Delta Challenge/DST Homeownership Initiative to help members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., their families and friends to achieve their dream of homeownership.  Through the partnership between Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Genworth Financial and Chase Home Finance, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is taking action to help close the homeownership gap between African Americans and the U.S. population as a whole.

In an effort to achieve Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.'s goals and objectives, Financial Fortitude will partner with other organizations to implement the following programs:
